EQ 500 range, an elegant design
This coffee machine, equipped with an integrated grinder and a modern design, features high-quality materials. Its silver and black ABS façade adds a contemporary touch to your kitchen. With its large containers, it is perfectly suited for intensive use, ideal for a family with grown-up children:
- Bean container: 270 g
- Water tank: 1.7 litre
- Grounds container: up to 10 pucks
The large bean container is fitted with an airtight seal and a smoked lid to perfectly preserve the aromas of your coffee. You can pour a 250 g bag directly into the machine.
CoffeeSelect display
To make preparing your favourite coffee a pleasure from the very first moment, Siemens has introduced the colour CoffeeSelect display. As soon as you switch on your machine, let the intuitive CoffeeSelect screen guide you.
The 3.7-inch TFT screen presents a wide range of coffee-based drinks: espresso, café crème, cappuccino, latte macchiato, milk foam alone, and much more. Thanks to its very intuitive operation, all functions and settings are accessible on the touch panel.
It shows you all the available options; you only have to make your selection at the touch of a finger: optimal comfort for preparing an excellent coffee.
Settings and Intuitiveness
The Siemens EQ.500 is remarkably user-friendly and focuses on what matters: customising your drinks with ease. You can adjust the temperature, cup size and coffee strength very simply.
You can also prepare one or two coffee drinks simultaneously, quickly and easily, thanks to the "Coffee Direct" system.
OneTouch function
With the Siemens EQ500 Classic, you can simultaneously prepare two drinks from a selection including ristretto, espresso, hot water, milk foam, espresso macchiato, cappuccino and latte macchiato.
Its side milk system is practical, allowing you to dip the milk hose directly into your container, then store it in the fridge after use.
Siemens has also introduced automatic milk-pipe cleaning: after each use, this maintenance system starts automatically, ensuring perfect hygiene and daily cleaning of your machine. Thus, milk residues cannot develop bacteria, letting you simply enjoy your coffee in complete peace of mind.
Siemens EQ.500: impeccable hygiene
The Siemens EQ500 is equipped with the latest technologies to guarantee impeccable hygiene:
- Calc'nClean programme: it tells you the number of drinks remaining before the next appliance maintenance.
- Removable brewing unit: it can be rinsed under clean water for easy maintenance; doing so every 10 days is recommended.
- Dishwasher-safe parts: the milk nozzle, the drip tray, and the coffee grounds container can be washed in the dishwasher.
- Coffee grounds container full indicator.
- Note: a filter cartridge is supplied with the machine.
3-year warranty
This automatic Siemens machine is covered by a 3-year comfort warranty, valid only in metropolitan France. The Siemens consumer service is your trusted partner for the maintenance and repair of your espresso grinder.
