Designed in Germany and mainly manufactured in Switzerland, Nivona bean-to-cup machines are ideal for use in small offices. This bean-to-cup espresso machine, equipped with dual thermoblocks (two boilers) and a dual pump, guarantees stable and optimal performance with every cup. Moreover, a bean hopper riser is included, offering a practical solution for professional environments.
A sophisticated and modern appearance
The CafeRomatica 1040 from Nivona stands out with its modern and elegant design, featuring a titanium and chrome finish. Its robust construction helps to dampen grinder noise, offering a more silent experience. The dispensing spouts, adjustable in height, accommodate cups up to 16.5 cm and benefit from a practical lighting.
With its generous capacities, this bean-to-cup machine is ideal for heavy users in environments such as small offices: 600 g bean hopper, 3.5 L water tank and grounds container able to hold 20 pucks.
The color TFT screen offers simple, intuitive and pleasant navigation. The rotary button allows easy menu browsing and option selection. You have direct access to all your favorite drinks, as well as 18 customizable recipes thanks to the My Coffee mode.

The bean hopper riser is an essential accessory to maximize the capacity of your coffee machine, thus offering a practical solution for professional environments with high coffee consumption. By increasing the height of the bean hopper, it accommodates a larger quantity of coffee, reducing refill frequency.
This feature is especially appreciated in offices or during events where multiple cups are prepared in succession. Moreover, the bean hopper riser contributes to better preservation of coffee aromas, ensuring optimal flavors with every extraction. Easy to install, it integrates perfectly into your machine while adding a practical touch to your coffee experience.
Customized extraction to suit your desires
This coffee machine with built-in grinder offers a multitude of settings to meet all your desires. Its conical grinder made of hardened steel, adjustable across 6 levels, allows you to control the fineness of the grind. It is also equipped with Aromatica pre-infusion technology, which guarantees rich aroma extraction, as well as the Aroma Balance function with 3 levels, allowing you to choose between different extraction intensities. Thecoffee intensity can be set to 5 levels, while the temperature is adjustable on 3 levels. The ground coffee chute, designed for a single dose, offers you the possibility to vary pleasures, for example by occasionally opting for a decaffeinated coffee.
The Nivona NICR 1040 will allow you to enjoy up to 18 different drinks, such as ristretto, espresso, or long coffee. Thanks to its real-time programming, you have the ability to modify each parameter during extraction, as well as to adjust the settings of drinks available in quick access. This is an ultra-customizable bean-to-cup espresso machine, designed to adapt to your preferences.
A range of flavors at your fingertips
With the Nivona NICR 1040 coffee machine, you can satisfy all the expectations of your customers and colleagues. It offers a wide variety of coffee recipes as well as milk-based drinks. A 0.9 liter milk jug is included with the machine.
Its advantage? The Duo Plus function which allows preparing two milk drinks simultaneously, ideal for sharing a gourmet break between colleagues. Moreover, its new One Touch milk pipe Spumatore guarantees a rich and creamy foam.
Tea lovers will also be delighted. The NICR 1040, with its integrated grinder, offers 4 temperature levels to perfectly adapt to your tea desires, whether it's black tea, green tea or infusions.
Effortless maintenance and Bluetooth connection
The Nivona NIC 1040 connects easily to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. Thanks to the Nivona app, you can adjust your drinks in an even more intuitive way. The app also provides you with usage tips and maintenance advice in the form of videos and texts.
Regarding maintenance of this bean-to-cup espresso machine, it is very easy to perform. Simply insert the Claris filter cartridge into the water reservoir and proceed with descaling when the machine prompts you. An indicator also alerts you when it's time to change the filter cartridge. Remember to clean the coffee group at least once a week: simply rinse it with lukewarm water, let it air dry, then put it back in place.
Moreover, the Easy Clean system for the milk part allows quick cleaning and complete in a single press thanks to powerful steam. It is recommended to use it after each use to ensure optimal hygiene of your machine and ensure constant quality of milk foam.
