The filter cartridge is an essential accessory for your KitchenAid machine. It purifies water by removing impurities such as carbon, chlorine, and lead. Since espresso is 98% water, poor water quality can affect the flavors of your coffee.
To ensure optimal filtration, it is recommended to replace the cartridge every two months or after filtering 50 liters of water. Your KitchenAid espresso machine will alert you when it's time to change it. Installing the cartridge in the reservoir is simple and can be easily done using the handle of the dosing spoon.
