Kekchi Guatemala Bio: Specialty coffee grown in Cobán
Discover a coffee of single origin from the FEDECOVERA cooperative, located in the region of Cobán, Las Verapaces, in Guatemala. This terroir rising between 1350 and 1500 m altitude gives this bean remarkable freshness and incomparable aromatic character.
Located in the heart of a preserved tropical region, Guatemala's coffee plantations benefit from natural shade promoting slow ripening of the beans and superior aromatic quality. Surrounded by rich biodiversity in endemic species, they are part of a sustainable agriculture approach: coffee pulp is valued and transformed into natural fertilizer, contributing to environmentally respectful farming and exceptional specialty coffee.
In addition, the French brand Café Mokxa has chosen 100% eco-responsible packaging : designed in Europe, it is made of kraft paper from wood cellulose sourced from sustainably managed forests, to minimize its environmental impact as much as possible.

Since 2011, backed by a team of enthusiasts, based in Strasbourg and Lyon, Mokxa now operates in France and Europe, with coffee shops, restaurants, and hotels. The Café Mokxa team brings a particular demand to the selection of beans with our importers or directly with the producers. All coffees, 100% arabica, come from sustainable or organic farming. Because coffee is an agricultural product, defined by climate, soil type, shade, botanical variety, and altitude, their range varies throughout the year depending on seasonality.
