A compact and modern espresso grinder
This Smeg coffee machine with built-in grinder has an ultra-compact footprint, only 180 mm wide, so it fits even the smallest kitchens. Dimensions: height 336 mm, width 180 mm, depth 433 mm. The spouts are height-adjustable to accommodate taller or shorter cups, and the aluminium drip tray is removable. Minimum height 90 mm, maximum height 185 mm.Its ultra-modern design features a matte-black ABS body, satin-aluminium frame and high-quality brushed-aluminium front panel. Cup LEDs illuminate while coffee is dispensed. It offers containers ideal for a couple or light users:
- Water tank : 1.4 L
- Bean hopper : 175 g
- Puck container : 7 pucks.
Wide choice of drinks
This Smeg bean-to-cup machine offers 8 one-touch coffee-speciality drinks:
- Ristretto & Light Ristretto : short, intensely aromatic coffee
- Espresso & Light Espresso : slightly longer coffee with pronounced aromas
- Coffee : a lengthened espresso
- Long Coffee : equivalent to half a mug
- Hot Water for americanos, teas and herbal infusions
- Americano : espresso plus hot water
Each drink comes with factory settings, but you can easily customise cup length to suit your taste.
Intuitive interface and dual menu
This Smeg espresso grinder is effortless to use thanks to flat buttons on top. Two menus give every button a second function, indicated by LED colour: white for menu 1, orange for menu 2.
The intuitive interface makes the machine easy to master. Plug it in and it’s ready to use instantly.
Its 5-setting conical grinder delivers fine, even grounds for maximum flavour. A thermoblock heats quickly and a 19-bar pump provides pressure.
Simplified maintenance
This Smeg bean machine is quick and easy to maintain. Water hardness can be set to 3 levels so the machine suggests appropriate cleaning cycles. A filter cartridge can be placed in the tank to fight limescale and purify water taste.
The brew group is removable for weekly cleaning under lukewarm water to remove coffee particles and oils.
A descaling alarm will light up when it is necessary to descale your bean-to-cup coffee machine. This removes any limescale deposits, protects your machine and maintains excellent coffee quality.
The drip tray splits into two parts and the inner part is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
