Inspired by the 50s, the Smeg ECF03BLEU seduces first with its unique aesthetic, between rounded shapes and glossy black finish. Made of cast aluminum, it combines robustness and elegance, with stainless steel finishes for a refined look.
Thiscompact machinemakes no compromise on style or materials. It perfectly embodies the Smeg design DNA, with an irresistible retro touch and solid construction.
Its58 mm stainless steelgroup, usually reserved for higher-end machines, favors a homogeneous infusion of ground coffee. Thanks to theThermoblocksystem, the temperature rise is rapid and stable, for a constant taste cup after cup. The pressure gauge allows you to adjust your grind or tamping to reach theideal extraction zone.
Ergonomics have also been taken care of:intuitive buttons, accessible steam lever and passive cup warmer complete a well-thought-out set. The included simple or pressurized filters facilitate use for beginners while allowing for progressive skill development.
The Smeg ECF03 stands out with asimple 4-button interfaceand anintegrated pressure gaugethat guides the extraction quality in real-time.
The major innovation of this version: theintegrated Cold Brew function, allowing for easy preparation of cold coffee (single or double dose) directly from the machine. It also offers temperature (low, optimal, high) and volume settings for your espressos.
Thesteam wandin stainless steel allows for the creation of cappuccinos or latte macchiatos with ease. Finally, a programmable standby mode and descaling alarm ensure economical and peaceful daily use.
To fully exploit the potential of this machine, it is recommended to use a coffee mill to obtain a fresh grind, adapted to each extraction.
Accessories: 58 mm stainless steel double-spout portafilter, single and double cup single-wall filters, single and double cup pressurized filters, a stainless steel tamper and maintenance accessories. To complete your barista accessories, choose the SMEG tamping mat, perfectly suited to your machine.
Maintenance: The Smeg ECF03 is designed to make these daily tasks easy: removable water tank and drip tray, accessory storage compartment, easy access to the brew group, built-in descaling alert. Regularly maintaining the steam wand also prevents milk residue build-up.
The silicone disc lets you perform a backflush (deep cleaning).
