A perfect diameter!
With itsultra-precise diameter of 57.3 mmand its flat base, the stainless steel base of this dynamometric tamper BARISTATOR has been designedto compress the entire amount of ground coffee present in your filter.
A traditional coffee tamper does not get close enough to the edge of your filter (and therefore causes a significant loss of grounds). This BARISTATOR tamper solves this problem, thanks to its larger diameter.
This dynamometric tamper is suitable for filters of manual espresso machines with a 57 mm extraction group.
A studied base shape
Its dynamometric handle will allow you to obtain a compression withthe same precision throughout your day. This will ensure an identical extraction, regardless of the level of force you use when compressing.
This dynamometric tamper BARISTATOR isconfigurable: unscrew the end of the handle to adjust the pressure to be applied.
Its shape is different from traditional "rectangular" tampers, and this is not just for aesthetic reasons, but once again, for a matter ofefficiency.
Its diameter allows you to avoid any loss of grounds, but the issue of air flow can then arise: whereas a traditional coffee tamper would cause the grounds to lift by suction effect,the dynamometric tamper BARISTATOR allows air to circulate progressively, to avoid any air pressure imbalance.
