Torque Tamper BARISTATOR 58.6 mm antistatic base
A perfect diameter!
With itsultra-precise 58.6 mm diameter and its flat bottom, theTeflonbase of this Baristator torque tamper has been designed to tamp the entire amount of ground coffee in your filter, but also toprevent the grounds from sticking.
A traditional coffee tamper does not get close enough to the edge of your filter (thus causing significant grounds loss). This Baristator tamper solves that problem thanks to its wider diameter.
This torque tamper is suitable for manual espresso machine filters with a 58 mm brew group.
A thoughtfully shaped base
Its torque handle lets you achieve tamping withthe same precision all day long, ensuring identical extraction no matter how much force you apply while tamping.
This Baristator torque tamper isadjustable: unscrew the tip of the handle to set the pressure to apply.
Its shape differs from classic “rectangular” tampers, and this is not for looks but, once again, forefficiency.
Its diameter prevents any grounds loss, but the issue of air suction may then arise: where a classic-shaped tamper would lift the grounds by a vacuum effect,the Baristator torque tamper allows air to escape graduallyto avoid any air-pressure imbalance.

Instead of using Teflon, which is not entirely food-safe, this tamper uses Xylane for its non-stick coating.
