TheSAGE Barista Express Impressespresso machine is the continuation of the famous Barista Express, the best-selling model by the brand in the world over the past five years.
Just like its big sister, the Barista Express Impress SES876BTR4EEU1 Black Truffle is designed with a beautifulstainless steel body,paintedblack truffle color. Itsintegrated grindercontains high-quality stainless steel conical burrs, with a25-setting systemto obtain the ideal grind according to the chosen coffee bean.
SAGE has providedsimple filters,as well aspressurized filters, which can be used with pre-ground coffee, a good idea for guests who prefer decaffeinated coffee.

TheImpress Puck: The perfect dose with less effort
ThenewImpress Pucksystem from SAGE is a small revolution. It simplifies the steps needed to grind, dose, and tamp to dispense the perfect dose. Insert your filter holder into the space under the grinder to start the coffee grinding process.The dose is automatically calculatedbased on the last extracted coffee. The grinder dispenses the grind uniformly into the filter.
The tamping is done thanks to theleveron the side of the machine. But the SAGE Barista Express Impress does not just tamp the coffee. In fact,theImpress Pucksystem copies the barista's gesturewith a pressure of 10 kg and a professional twist of 7° on the ground coffee puck. This straight and homogeneous tamping guarantees perfect extraction. The tamping lever requires no effort, as the machine does all the work.
Additionally, a light gauge indicates if the dose of ground coffee is correct during tamping. If it is not, thesystem will memorize the result and adjust the doseduring the next extraction.
A beautiful milk foam and hot water to personalize your favorite drinks
The SAGE Barista Express Impress espresso machine allows you to serve one or two cups of coffee. It is also equipped with a hot water outlet dedicated (next to the steam wand), to preheat your cups, make a long coffee or serve tea to your guests, for example.
The machine has a powerful stainless steel steam wand that pivots 360° to find the ideal position. Steam is dispensed at 130° C, to create micro-foam, perfect for a cappuccino. A stainless steel milk jug is provided with the SAGE Barista Express Impress to help you practice Latte Art.
In addition, the PID and the rapid heating system Thermocoil (integrated stainless steel water circuit), control the water temperature and ensure good thermal stability, bringing out all the aromas of a good specialty coffee.
Other highlights of the SAGE Barista Express Impress
The Pre-infusion automatic or manual: possibility to adjust the pre-infusion time for your extraction.
Pressure gauge on the front to keep an eye on the pressure during extraction.
Program the cup volume: possibility to save your cup dose according to your taste.
Adjust the water temperature: possibility to increase or decrease the hot water temperature by +/- 2 °C in 1 °C increments from the factory setting.
A light that flashes when a cleaning cycle is needed and a drip tray fill indicator to alert you when the tray needs to be emptied.
A small hidden drawer behind the drip tray to store your accessories and a water tank of 2 L.

Maintenance: To extend the life of your Sage espresso machine and for better cup results, it is recommended to use a filter cartridge (or already filtered water). Remember to descale your appliance following the brand's instructions (see manual) and clean the accessories regularly.
