The Philips bean-to-cup coffee machineEP3321/40 is a beautiful appliance dressed in lacquered black. The silver finishes of this version equipped with Philips' Silent Brew 3000 spout give it a sophisticated look. Despite its rather compact size, it features a water reservoir located on the right side, which enhances its compactness.
Its format remains relatively imposing, but it offers generous containers, perfect for family use:
Thanks to the opaque lid of the bean hopper, your coffee is better protected from light, thus preserving more of its aromas. The Silent Brew range also benefits from a significantly improved seal compared to previous versions, preventing coffee oxidation and providing better sound insulation for the grinder, for optimal comfort.
The Philips EP3321/40 allows you to prepare your drinks in silence thanks to its Silent Brew technology. Everyone can find their favorite among the 5 hot or refreshing recipes: espresso, long coffee, lungo, iced coffee or hot water, ideal for tea and infusion lovers.
A dedicated chute for ground coffee is available for using pre-ground coffee: perfect for decaf in the evening! The 100% ceramic grinder is adjustable over 12 levels, allowing you to control the grind fineness and balance bitterness and acidity according to your taste.
MyCoffeeChoice: you can also choose the intensity on 3 levels for all coffee drinks. These settings are selected very easily via the large touch panel of the EP3321/40, equipped with intuitive pictograms. LEDs flash to warn you in case of water shortage, for example.
You can prepare one or two cups simultaneously.

Excellent point for this machine: Philips has reworked temperature management. The balance in cup between acidity and bitterness is now very convincing. Previously, a smoky aftertaste could appear due to overly hot extraction. A notable improvement that marks real progress!
These adjustments show in the cup: you get a coffee enhanced with a dense, persistent and hazelnut-colored crema.
Milk drink lovers will appreciate the steam wand (with double position), ideal for creating dense foam or simply heating milk. Easily prepare cappuccinos, latte macchiatos or any milk drinks you love. The foam, thick and creamy, will be perfect for hot chocolate or a cappuccino enriched with an espresso.
For Iced Coffee, the extraction is carried out at a much lower temperature, to limit thermal shock when the coffee comes into contact with the ice cubes. It is not a cold extraction, but a gentle extraction around 65°C, compared to about 87°C for a hot espresso.
