The Comandante X25 Trailmaster Dune: a sturdy grinder for adventurers
The iconic Comandante X25 Trailmaster Dune grinder is ahigh-endcoffee grinder, specifically designed for outdoor use.
For the body of this grinder, the brand's engineers conducted extensive field tests and laboratory research before choosing areinforced techno-polymerspecial material called QTP®. A large number of reinforcing particles are woven into the long-chain polymer structure of QTP®, making it elastic and resistant. Originally, this material was developed for mechanical engineering and has also been used in the automotive industry for bearings and gearbox components.It is capable of withstanding the most challenging environments.
The modern polygonal design reflects light, offering the illusion of different shades at certain angles.
QTP® is safefor contact with food and water. It is a patented trademark by Comandante®
High-end burrs for precise and uniform grinding
TheNitro Blade burrs in treated steelof the Comandante X25 Trailmaster Dune grinder have a very thoughtful geometry and structure. They are offormidable efficiencyand its mechanism produces asurprising uniformityof the grind.
The hardened steel is special, with high nitrogen content (patented by Comandante), hence the name Nitro Blade! It is a difficult steel to work with, but guaranteesvery wear-resistant burrs.
The Comandante X25 Trailmaster Dune manual coffee grinder isextremely versatileand allows grinding coffee very fine (for Turkish coffee) to a coarser grind (French press).
Settings and other features
Thegrinding adjustment systemis located under the grinder. Simply turn the 3-armed star clockwise for a finer grind, counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. A "click" action locks in your preferred setting.
The polymer container allows transferringfrom the grinder to the portafilter, or storing your ground coffee. A silicone lid/cap is provided for this purpose.
Internal mechanism and crank instainless steel, with a magnetic system to secure the crank on the hopper.
The hopper can hold up to30 g of coffeebeans.
Thewooden handle knobis made from European-origin oak.
Weight: 420g (about 1/3 lighter than the Comandante C40).
Comandante guarantees its manual grinders for life (unless a problem is due to misuse or user error).
Guaranteed BPA-free and free of other bisphenols.
