The green tea, ginger, and lemon blend is known for its health benefits and distinctive character during tasting. The Comptoir Français du Thé house, in collaboration with Chef Nina Métayer, has revisited this version by combining it with black tea, basil, and thyme. During tasting, the balance between the two types of tea is perfectly achieved. The touch of basil adds a hint of character. A seasonal tea that lends itself to high temperatures as well as the lowest.
For the preparation of the Délicatesse de Syracuse tea, respecting the temperature is important so that the black tea and green tea infuse perfectly. For this, it is recommended to infuse your tea at 90°C for 4 minutes. If the infusion time is longer, the bitterness and astringency of the teas will take precedence over the tea's aromas.
