DeLonghi offers us its brand-new bean-to-cup machine with modern design and compact size and well thought out. It is, so to speak, the smallest format ever designed by DeLonghi! Since the water tank is easily recessed and positioned on the side of the machine, one might think of placing the milk carafe right in front to save even more space when it is not in use. Everything seems to fit together brilliantly.
It offers great autonomy on the container side which makes it ideal for family use:
- Water tank: 1.4L
- Bean hopper: 2 x 250 g interchangeable which allows you to keep one coffee and serve another!
The two bean hoppers supplied will have lids of different colors: with this machine, a gray and a black.
A major innovation thanks to the interchangeable bean hoppers
This coffee machine revolutionizes the world of espresso grinders. It is the only DeLonghi bean-to-cup machine that allows you to switch bean coffees at will. How does it work?Very simply: the coffee maker comes with 2 interchangeable bean hoppers. Both can hold up to 250 g (the equivalent of a whole bag of coffee). No need to wait until the hopper is empty to switch coffees! This solution is perfect for accommodating the tastes of several people within the same household, or for meeting the different desires of one person depending on the time of day.
The exclusive technology of this coffee maker, the Bean Switch System, was awarded at the Paris Fair with the Gold Grand Prix for Innovation, which promises great things. But that’s not the only surprise from the brand: DeLonghi introduces a new technology useful for the remaining 10 g of beans when switching bean hoppers. The idea: treat yourself to one last coffee... then you can choose either to purge the system or keep the remainder and blend it with the new coffee put in place.
The Rivelia’s quality extraction
The DeLonghi Rivelia is easy to understand: it tells you what it is doing ("grinding beans in progress" for example, with animated pictograms).
It is a quality machine, on which the Italian brand has placed a new extraction group. Smaller than on previous models, but no less efficient. De'Longhi has focused on thoughtful changes: now, you can make 2 coffees at the same time, and get the same intensity in both cups.

As for the preset espresso,about 9 grams of coffee is used, whereas a machine would normally use an average of 12.

On the drinks side, you will be won over bythe milk carafe supplied with the machine. An effective OneTouch: you simply place milk in the carafe and position a cup under the spout before starting a milk-based drink. You can choosethe thickness of the milk foam: "cappuccino" (for thicker foam) vs "latte macchiato" (which will give you a finer foam). The Rivelia machine adapts to the seasons; you can also make cold drinks: americano and espresso!
