The organic Colombia Planadas coffee is produced by an alliance of two cooperatives that bring together 240 families. Each family’s motto is “Take care of Mother Earth”; they cultivate land belonging to Colombia’s largest nature reserve, following organic-farming principles. The coffee grows on old-variety coffee trees. It is grown at high altitude, and the plantations are often shrouded in clouds.
After harvest the coffee is processed only by the washed method with fermentation. You will taste one of the most delicious organic coffees of Colombia. You will enjoy a fragrant coffee with indulgent, fruity notes leaning toward yellow fruits. Cocoa dominates, but sweeter notes of cane sugar and white grape reach your palate during tasting.
