Dressed in itsblack color, this bean-to-cup machine will easily fit into your kitchen. The EQ300 grinder issynonymous with performance, and the TF301E09 replaces the TI35A209RW which was a BaristaDiscount exclusive. A few improvements complete this new version.

The EQ300 TF301E09 features theIntelligent Heating System which allowsheating only the necessary amount of water to ensure a quality espresso, and only that amount of water.
Extraction quality of the TF301E09
You'll find anice balance between acidity and bitternessin the coffees from the TF301E09. However, the temperature of the served drinks isvery high. Result: you'll geta very black coffee. The grinder is adjustable tothree positions.
Good point for dosing and quantities: a good espresso should be between 32 and 37 ml in the cup, andthose served by the EQ 300 are 35ml.
This machine is equipped with aremovable milk frother.The novelty: it'smagnetic and thereforeultra-simple to insert. Lattes are yours, and once again with this machine: without difficulty!

Maintenance of the EQ300 espresso grinder
Finding the right machine is ideal. Being able to keep it as long as possible is even better!Maintaining your bean-to-cup machine is essential for this reason, but also toensure the best results in the cup, and prevent your coffee taste from being altered.
1.Cleaning: The brew group is removable on this grinder, run it underwarm water once a week.
2.Filtration: adding afilter cartridge to your water will purify its taste and prevent excessive limescale formation.
3.Descaling: this machine is equipped with theCalc'n'Clean Programa complete machine cleaning and descaling program for extended lifespan.
The steam wand and drip tray aredishwasher safe.

The expert's opinion
This is a machine that retainsthe intuitiveness and ease of Siemens settings. The screen has evolved slightly compared to the previous model: when the water tank needs refilling, for example, awater pictogramnow appears on the screen. Nice!
Themagnetic wandis a great idea: it's much simpler to attach. However, I remain a bitdisappointed with the grinder, it seems the burrs are spaced further apart than on the previous Siemens EQ 300 grinder, and even set to the finest position, the grind comes out very coarse.
We'll note thatit's not the fastest machine, butfor black coffee lovers, it's very good, and you can even make delicious lattes macchiatoeffortlessly.
For more comfort, I recommend the EQ300 TF503E04 (Stainless and metallic titanium) which features an improved screen, the OneTouch DoubleCup function, plus an active cup warmer.
