Discover the Smeg-compatible filter cartridge designed for automatic or manual coffee machines. This cartridge has a filtration capacity of up to 150 litres of water, or approximately 400 drinks. It can be used as a replacement for the 1ECWF01 cartridge specific to Smeg machines. The filter cartridge is an essential step to preserve the authentic taste of your coffee. It helps eliminate impurities, including limescale, to ensure better water quality for your coffee machine.

Effective and simple to install, this Arfize cartridge is100% compatible with Smeg machines, both automatic and manual.Its filtering agents composed of coconut shell activated carbon and food-grade resin help combat limescale deposits and chlorine.You will get a drink that is better in terms of aroma and therefore more flavorful! Not to mention the extended lifespan of your machine. This dosage is particularly suited to French water networks.
Our experts developed this cartridge so that its components are balanced: 1 dose of coconut shell activated carbon for 1 dose of resin, whereas other brands over-dose the resin, which creates an imbalance in filtration.
Filter cartridge installation
The filter cartridge is essential to protect your machine, however if it is poorly installed, you will notice that the flow will be difficult. To fix this, it is recommended to immerse the cartridge in water before use to remove air. Once done, you can install your cartridge with peace of mind.
How often to change it? A cartridge should be changed every 2 to 3 months depending on the hardness of your water and the amount of drinks made.
This cartridge filters up to150L of water, or approximately 400 drinksand can be used as a replacement for thecartridge and 1ECWF01.
