The Dolce Gusto® Kurps Neo White KP850110 represents a real turning point in the world of capsule machines. It offers a three-step revolution: quality, sustainability and connectivity.
Thanks to the SmartBrew technology (or intelligent extraction), Neo instantly recognises your pod and adjusts all its parameters to deliver a high-quality cup. The following are adapted: the coffee extraction technique, the pressure used, the temperature and the cup length. The machine also cleans itself after every cup so no residue remains in its system. The water used for cleaning is drained into the pod container.
A very nice innovation will delight lovers of milky drinks: it is the AirFoam technology. AirFoam allows the Neo coffee machine to create a micro-foam of milk, creamy and indulgent, on all milky drinks (cappuccino, hot chocolate...).
This coffee machine is also a product of its time: it can be used with full ecological awareness. This revolution comes from the compostable pods, designed to encourage more sustainable consumption.
Coffee-shop quality at home is what the Neo KP850110 coffee machine promises. Thanks to the Nescafé® Dolce Gusto® app, you can personalise your drink by varying the temperature and water volume.
The app provides personalised guidance for perfect use of your pod machine. You will be notified when descaling is due, or when the water tank needs refilling or the pod container emptying. With every drink prepared you earn points that can later be exchanged for gifts.

This capsule machine has an interesting and very modern design, which may appeal to those who don't like classic capsule machines. It's not too wide, but quite deep. The water tank has a good capacity (1.3 L), which offers nice autonomy for a pod machine. Its oval shape, however, doesn't allow the filled tank to be placed flat.
The Neo pods are a very nice discovery. Besides the innovation the brand put into designing these fully compostable pods (they completely break down in 6 months), the drinks are varied and their preparation is very quick - note that there is no decaffeinated drink. Nevertheless, even if the Neo pods are very high quality in taste, freshly ground coffee beans (like on a bean-to-cup machine) offer a more aromatic extraction, and the very diverse variety of coffee beans allows all tastes to be satisfied.
The machine cleans itself after each use, ensuring you have circuits free of traces from previous drinks when you prepare a new one; the downside is that the cleaning water ends up in the pod collection tray, which has a small capacity. Moreover, like all capsule machines, its cost per cup is higher than with other coffeemaker models or even bean-to-cup machines. If these models are more expensive to buy, they are more economical in the long run since they use less expensive consumables.
