DeLonghi presents its brand-new coffee machine withmodern design and compact size and well thought-out. It is, so to speak, the smallest format ever designed by DeLonghi! The water tank being easily recessed and positioned on the side of the machine, one might think of tucking the milk carafe right in front to save even more space when it is not in use. Everything seems to fit together brilliantly.
It offers greatcontainer capacity making it ideal for family use:

This coffee machine revolutionizes the world of espresso grinders. It is the only DeLonghi bean-to-cup machine that allows you toswitch bean coffees at will. How does it work?Very simply: the coffee maker is delivered with2 interchangeable bean hoppers. Both can hold up to 250 g (the equivalent of a whole bag of coffee). No need to wait for the hopper to be empty to change coffees! This solution isperfect for accommodating the tastes of several people within the same household, or for meeting the different desires of one person depending on the time of day.
The exclusive technology of this coffee maker, theBean Switch System, was awarded at the Paris Fair with theGrand Prix de l'Innovation d'Or, which promises great things. But that is not the brand’s only surprise: DeLonghi offers a new technologyuseful for the 10 g of beans left when changing bean hoppers. The idea: treat yourself to one last coffee… then you can choose either to purge the system or to keep the remainder and blend it with the new coffee installed.

The Rivelia offers up to8 coffee recipes, and on versions with milk drinks, it goes up to 16 beverages: enough to delight all consumers. Moreover, this espresso grinder is equipped with theCoffee Routine system, a technology that offersrecipe memorization based on the time of day you consume the drinks, to provide you with a personalized experience.
DeLonghi’s new gem also features theBean Adapt function set directly on its touchscreen: the machine will then propose an automatic grinder adjustment based on the coffee used. This makes it a perfect bean machine for coffee lovers who want quality without getting lost in settings: the Rivelia offers youoptimal settings for controlled extraction. BeanAdapt technology remains optional, so the most discerning coffee lovers can still disable it at will.
This machine offers 3 temperature levels, and you can save up to 4 user profiles to memorize your drink preferences.

The Rivelia's quality extraction
The Rivelia from Delonghi is simple to understand: it tells you what it is doing ("grinding beans in progress" for example, with animated pictograms).
This is a quality machine, on which the Italian brand has placed a new extraction group. Smaller than on previous models, but no less effective. De'Longhi focused on thoughtful changes: now, you can make 2 coffees at the same time, and get the same intensity in both cups.
Our experts tested this machine to give you an objective report. On the Rivelia, the highly sought-after Doppio + is not available, however strong coffee lovers will appreciate the "extra shot" offered by this coffee maker.
As for the preset espresso, about 9 grams of coffee is used, whereas a machine would normally use an average of 12.
This machine will therefore save coffee: another positive point!
On the drinks side, you will be seduced by the milk carafe supplied with the machine. An effective OneTouch: you just need to put milk in the carafe and place a cup under the spout before starting a milk-based drink. You can choose the thickness of the milk foam : "cappuccino" (for thicker foam) vs "latte macchiato" (which will give you a finer foam). You can make cold extractions with the Rivelia machine such as espresso, americano and coffee, perfect for cooling off this summer!
Maintaining the DeLonghi Rivelia
Maintaining your bean-to-cup coffee machine is just as important as choosing your coffee well. Indeed, over time, your coffee can taste stale if you do not clean your appliance. And to keep your coffee maker in good condition and give you the best possible experience, it is also important to take care of it.
We will recommend these essential steps:
- CLEANING : the coffee group is removable on this machine. Our advice is to rinse it under lukewarm water once a week. The various trays and containers can also be cleaned, even going in the dishwasher.
- FILTRATION : the filter cartridge will filter limescale particlesand purify the taste of the water, and therefore of your cup of coffee, which will thus retain all its aromas.
- DESCALING: the DeLonghi machineRivelia will alert youwhen descaling is needed!A dose of descaling agent is supplied with the machine.
- MILK SYSTEM: if you choose the latte version of the Rivelia, note that the supplied carafe will clean itselfautomatically. So you won’t have much to do on that front.
