The Magnifica Start is DeLonghi's range reinvented with a black design and small stainless-steel accents. The ECAM 220.21.B iscompactand will fit easily on your countertop.

The DeLonghi ECAM 220.21.B espresso grinder is equipped with aelongated, touch-sensitive interface, making it very easy to adjust. The buttons are marked withicons, no color.
With its settings, you can adjust the temperature of your drinks as well as the strength of your coffee. You will have a choice ofthree levels of adjustmenteach time.
Thegrinder has 13 positionsavailable, allowing you to control the fineness of your grind.
The extraction of the DeLonghi ECAM 220.21.B
This coffee machine offers3 coffee drinks, which has the advantage of letting everyone choose the caffeinated beverage that suits them best.
However, it is especially idealfor lovers of long coffees.
The Magnifica Start ECAM 220.21.B makes two different long coffees: theclassic coffee(milder) and thelong coffeeextracted with a low-pressure shot, which delivers more caffeine than the first: perfect for a morning bowl! If you prefer shorter coffees, you can also pull a Doppio+.
This machine is equipped with asteam wand.This allows you to have (in addition to coffees)hot waterfor teas or infusions, and especially to preparecreamy milk foamthat will let you make indulgent milk-based drinks.
Maintaining the Magnifica Start bean-to-cup coffee machine
Maintaining your DeLonghi Magnifica coffee machine is an important step to keep your espresso grinder in good condition for as long as possible. If you do not maintain your coffee machine, deposits will accumulate (just like limescale) and may alter the result in the cup.
- Cleaning:we recommend cleaning the brew group once a week with lukewarm water to remove coffee grounds
- Filtration:use a filter cartridge which, in addition to purifying the taste of the water, will prevent excessive limescale buildup
- Descaling:to be done approximately every 2 months to remove limescale that deposits on the heating system as well as the extraction spouts.A dose of descaling agent is supplied with the machine.
- The milk system:remember to purge your steam wand before and after use to prevent milk deposits that quickly accumulate bacteria...

The Delonghi Magnifica Start range is more modernized than that of the Delonghi Magnifica S. The interface is indeed larger, which makes it nicer, even if its design remains simple. It is compact, but provides what is needed: espresso as well as long coffee, it will interest many with its attractive price!
