A floral and spicy espresso
The Linea Espresso whole-bean coffee is the perfect illustration of Italian coffee. It brings together in one the finest arabica and robusta beans, which translates in the cup into a balanced blend.
- In the cup: observe the density of the crema that hints at the aromatic generosity of the coffee. Its brown colour gives a glimpse of the roast that the roaster Zicaffè chose.
- When tasting: the coffee has a bold attack but also a varied aromatic palette ranging from floral to spicy notes. As you explore further, the lingering finish lets us discover notes of dark chocolate with great subtlety.
Tips: On a Delonghi automatic grinder, for a ¾ French cup, set to 4/5 with a water volume of 60 ml.
Zicaffè, the quintessential Italian roaster
90 years of experience for the Sicilian brand that opened in 1929 as aroasting company and has remained one to this day. It offers quality Italian whole-bean coffees that combine the aromas and flavours of traditional recipes with new technologies to meet consumer demands as closely as possible. Its renown comes in part from the fact that it offers incomparable coffee blends that come close to the true Italian espressos prized by coffee enthusiasts. Zicaffè
Passionate about coffee since 1929, Zicaffè was born in Marsala, in western Sicily. Legend has it that Vito Zichitella holds a secret recipe that gives Zicaffè beans their unique taste and aroma.
For more than 80 years, four generations of the Zichitella family have allowed the company to evolve while keeping the same passion and the unique taste of the first coffees created by Vito!
