Coffee extraction can be adjusted by changing several parameters such as cup length and coffee quantity. The ExtraShot function available on plain espresso adds character to the extraction. In the cup you discover a lovely thick crema that is not very persistent. The most important thing during tasting, the espresso is balanced and at the right temperature. The extraction temperature is lower than on the model, a good thing, as it prevents bitterness from developing.
Finally, the QuickStart system"instant start"lets you choose your drink without having to wait for the machine to heat up.
