The C8 range adopts the design of Jura's bean-to-cup coffee machines. You'll find a clean, slightly wavy front panel. The drink selection is shown on a simplified display. To access the various drinks, the screen is surrounded by digital buttons. The coffee spout has a dual outlet and is height-adjustable up to 11.5 cm. Its textured water tank adds a modern touch—a real success.

The C8 range features Jura's coffee-extraction technology. A perfect harmony between grind fineness, pre-infusion, and extraction. The espresso grinder is equipped with the Professional Aroma Grinder (P.A.G) and the eighth-generation brewing unit; together they allow every coffee bean to reveal its full potential.
The bean-to-cup machine prepares milk drinks at the touch of a button, letting you enjoy fabulous latte macchiato and cappuccino with a single press. Each beverage can be adjusted to your taste and desired result. Grind fineness is available in 7 levels, adapting to every type of coffee so you can find the balance between acidity and bitterness. Intensity is adjustable across 3 positions, letting you change the amount of ground coffee.

The C8 espresso grinder combines several technologies to extract maximum aroma.
The P.A.G grinder delivers a uniform grind that ensures steady flow during extraction. Grind fineness is a key parameter, highlighting your coffee's acidity and bitterness. The P.A.G grinder will help you easily achieve a balanced cup.
The brewing chamber can hold between 5 and 16 g of coffee, affecting your drink's intensity. The 3D innovation is part of the eighth-generation brewing unit. This technology acts on water flow, pressure, and pre-infusion time. All these parameters enable maximum aroma release.
Maintaining the Jura C8 espresso grinder
The machine is compatible with Jura's range of cleaning products. It guides you step by step through maintenance needs. The steps are carried out easily according to how often drinks are prepared.
- The filter cartridge: The espresso grinder is compatible with the new generation of filter cartridge, the Claris Smart +. It filters impurities found in tap water. Purified water allows the aromas to fully unfold.
- The brewing unit: With each extraction, residues of oils and coffee grounds remain in the extraction chamber. Over time, their presence will alter the taste of your coffee and give your extraction a rancid flavor. Using a detergent tablet removes these residues; it is recommended to perform this maintenance every 10 days on average.
- Descaling: Using a filter cartridgeClaris Smart + eliminates the need for descaling. If you do not use a filter cartridgeClaris Smart +, you will need to perform descaling. This essential step protects the machine from limescale. If this step is not carried out, limescale can cause an obstruction in the internal circuit, leading to leaks.
- The milk system: It is strongly recommended to rinse it after each use, and a weekly cleaning with a detergent is advised to remove bacteria.

On the model, I was able to enjoy the 4 easily prepared drinks with optimal in-cup results. The coffee extraction is rich in aroma with a dense crema. As for milk drinks, nothing to complain about—an indulgent, creamy foam; I had plenty of volunteers to test the cup results. We are unanimous: the drinks are perfect.
I would have liked a larger screen, though in hindsight it gives the machine harmony and sobriety.
This entry-level Jura machine has retained the technologies of the high-end models; it can be connected to the J.O.E® app to enjoy more features.
