The Pro 400 features two separate wands for steam and hot water, allowing you to prepare a variety of drinks, from espresso to cappuccino and teas. This Pro 400 machine is recognized for its ability to produce barista-quality espressos, with rich crema and balanced flavor extraction.
Technical features of the Profitec Pro 400
The full potential of the Profitec Pro 400 doesn't stop there! It was designed for home use. Thanks to its compact dimensions, this machine fits perfectly in small kitchens without having to sacrifice good results in the cup. The color-coded valve discs included allow you to customize the appearance of the machine as you wish.
The large 1.6L stainless steel boiler provides enough dry steam to prepare several drinks without difficulty with a large 2.8L water tank. Profitec also equipped the Pro 400 with fast heating time and optimized insulation around the boiler, which reduces the frequency of reheating cycles.
It is equipped with an E61 brew group that ensures flawless thermal stability, a quiet vibration pump and temperature control between three settings to further enhance the taste of your espresso. Aextraction pressure gaugeis included to monitor the pump pressure in real time and adjust the grind or dosage if necessary.
ECO mode and other built-in features
This Pro 400 espresso machine stands out from other heat-exchanger coffee machines on the market. It is equipped with a switch under the machine, allowing you to choose brewing with or without pre-infusion,a unique feature.
This same switch allows you toactivate or deactivate ECO mode. This built-in feature enables automatic shutdown of the coffee machine over a period of 0 to 600 minutes, which can be adjusted according to your usage needs. Another appreciated characteristic is theintelligent water level sensor, which ensures that the automatic shutdown of the machine only triggers after the coffee preparation is finished.
You can use the machine with freshly ground coffee, provided you have a good coffee grinder to extract all the flavors and aromas.
Accessories and maintenance of the Profitec Pro 400 machine
Maintenance:The internal components are designed to be easily accessible, which simplifies maintenance operations and any necessary repairs.
