The body of this SMEG 1895 Lavazza espresso machine is made of stainless steel, ensuring durability and a high-quality finish. Its blue color gives this machine a touch of freshness and modernity. Smeg is renowned for its retro aesthetic inspired by the 1950s, and this machine is no exception with its curved lines and chrome finishes.
The machine is equipped with a 15-bar vibratory pump, which is ideal for extracting an espresso with a rich and thick crema. You have the ability to adjust the temperature on three levels with pre-infusion function.
The removable tank has a capacity of 1 liter, sufficient for several cups before needing to refill. After a period of inactivity, the SMEG espresso machine automatically shuts off, saving energy.
The SMEG blue 1895 Lavazza features a thermoblock heating system, which allows for rapid heat-up, ensuring the machine is ready to use in no time. Compact and space-saving, this machine measures approximately 30 cm high, 15 cm wide and 33 cm deep.
The coffee machine comes with: 58mm single-spout portafilter, pressurized single-cup filter, dosing spoon with built-in tamper and instruction manual.
The SMEG 1895 Lavazza espresso machine is compatible with ground coffee. It is also equipped with a steam wand for preparing milk-based drinks like cappuccinos and lattes.
Its top tray in stainless steel allows cups to be warmed so the coffee stays hot longer. Its anti-slip feet ensure the machine stays securely in place on a surface.
For maintenance, the machine indicates when descaling is necessary, thus extending its lifespan and ensuring consistent coffee quality. Some parts, such as the drip tray, can be washed in the dishwasher for simplified maintenance. Removable parts, such as the water reservoir, allow for easy cleaning.
1895 is the name Lavazza chose for its brand bringing together several products including coffees (micro-lots, single origin and specialty coffees), all produced in the 1895 factory in Italy.
