A compact DeLonghi espresso machine for beginners
The espresso machine DeLonghi ECP31.21 has an ABS body with chrome details and a glossy finish, for an elegant look. With its compact size, it will easily fit in a small kitchen or home office corner.
This versatile coffee machine allows you to use pre-ground coffee (thanks to the pressurized filters) or ESE pods (handy for guests who prefer decaf, for example).
It is therefore ideal for beginners who don't necessarily want to spend time adjusting a coffee grinder to find the perfect grind.
Simplicity of use for a good coffee
Using the DeLonghi ECP31.21 is very simple. Just fill the filter of your choice with ground coffee or an ESE pod, then turn the dial to dispense your drink.
It's up to you to stop the extraction when you reach the desired volume in the cup (no automatic stop).
The brand recommends warming the cups before making coffee by rinsing them with a little hot water, to avoid thermal shock (and thus lukewarm coffee).
We recommend grinding your coffee fresh for a tastier result.
Thanks to the pressurized filters, you can use a small entry-level grinder.
The removable drip tray allows you to use cups up to 9 cm tall.
The stainless steel boiler of this DeLonghi espresso machine offers good thermal stability for extractions. Heating time is between 3 and 5 minutes.
Thanks to the removable steam wand, you'll be able to make milk foam to create your own milk-based drinks: cappuccino, latte, etc.
Plus, the steam wand can also dispense hot water, to lengthen your espresso or make tea.
