This coffee maker was designed to beeasy to use, handyand easy tomaintain. The carafe is made ofborosilicate glass, a resistant material that withstands high temperatures without risk of cracking, so the carafe will last you a very long time. Then, unlike some plastics or metals, borosilicate glass does not alter the taste of the coffee.
This filter coffee maker features akeep-warm function, adjustable according to your needs, from30 minutesto 1 hour. So you can enjoy a hot cup without having to reheat your coffee, which will preserve its aroma and flavor. It’s also a safe appliance, thanks to itsautomatic shut-off that prevents any risk of overheating and incidents.
On the practical side, thefilter holder is removable and therefore simplifies removal and cleaning. Then, itsanti-drip system prevents coffee from dripping when the carafe is removed, avoiding unwanted drops. The Melitta One is a drip coffee maker designed for coffee lovers looking for an efficient, fast and easy-to-use appliance. And on these points, it perfectly fulfills its mission. With its brewing time of 4 to 6 minutes and a controlled temperature between 92 and 96°C, it delivers coffee with well-extracted aromas, true to Melitta's reputation
One of the elements I particularly appreciated is the size of the shower head. Thanks to it, the water is distributed evenly over the entire surface of the ground coffee. Result: homogeneous extraction, no dry spots, and therefore a more balanced, more aromatic coffee. It's a real asset that distinguishes this coffee maker from other more basic models.
My advice for getting the best out of this coffee maker: pair it with a small coffee grinder. Freshly ground coffee will fully reveal the brewing potential of the Melitta One. Too often, industrial ground coffee impoverishes the result in the cup, which is a shame given the extraction precision this machine offers.
