Up to 22 coffee recipes to suit all preferences
The Philips LatteGo Series 5500 EP5541/50 has been designed to offer a wide variety of beverages, with no fewer than 22 recipes available: espresso, long coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, iced coffee or even hot water for infusions. This diversity makes it an ideal asset to satisfy colleagues and clients with varied tastes.
Thanks to its LatteGo milk carafe, milk-based beverages are prepared simply, with a fine and creamy foam. The Extra Shot function allows you to intensify espressos for a stronger result, while maintaining a pleasant aromatic balance.
Extraction can be adjusted according to different parameters (cup length, coffee intensity), allowing optimal customization. The temperature, deliberately milder, limits bitterness development and ensures harmonious tasting.
Finally, the QuickStart technology ensures instant start-up, allowing preparation to begin without waiting for the preheating phase, a real time-saver in a context professional.
Simplified maintenance for intensive use
The Philips LatteGo Série 5500 EP5541/50 was designed to meet the needs of professional environments, where reliability and speed of maintenance are essential. Its interface guides users step by step through the various maintenance stages, ensuring simple and effortless follow-up.
The extractable coffee group removes easily and can be rinsed with lukewarm water to eliminate grind residues and oils. A monthly cleaning with specific tablets is recommended to maintain optimal hygiene. All maintenance and descaling programs are automated and memorized by the machine, you only have to follow the notifications when they appear.
Compatible with the AquaClean filter cartridge, this machine significantly reduces the frequency of descaling (up to 5,000 preparations), a major advantage in a context of regular use. A first cartridge is included for immediate start-up.
Finally, the LatteGo system, fully detachable and dishwasher-safe, facilitates daily maintenance and ensures a high level of hygiene, even in collective use.

I already had a strong attachment to the older versions of Philips LatteGo machines, but it is clear that this EP5541/50 represents a significant advancement in quality.
What I particularly appreciate about this bean-to-cup machine is its ease of use thanks to its touch buttons and screen, which make selecting drinks and customizing recipes extremely simple. The Extra Shot function is a real plus for lovers of intense coffee.
The LatteGo system leaves no one indifferent with its dense and persistent foam, while remaining quiet and easy to clean.
