This pack combines 2 products designed to work in perfect synergy: the Aquaclean CA6903/10 filter cartridge and the Philips/Saeco CA6700/10 descaler. Together, they form a protective duo that preserves the quality of your water, guarantees the purity of your coffees and significantly extends the lifespan of your appliance.
The Aquaclean cartridge represents a true innovation in the world of automatic espresso machine maintenance. Its operation is based on a technology of microporous filtration combined with anion exchange system that is particularly efficient. This dual action allows for the natural elimination of limestone present in the water before it even enters the internal circuits of your machine, while retaining small impurities that could alter the flavor of your coffee.
Thanks to its patented Philips water circuit, the water flows for a longer time through the filter, thus benefiting from optimal purification. The filter also plays a crucial role in preventing unwanted particles from contaminating the water, ensuring that each cup reflects the fresh, pure and delicious taste you are looking for. Each Aquaclean cartridge can filter up to 95 litres of water, or about 625 cups of coffee. The recommended lifespan for each filter is 3 months, even if your machine does not yet indicate that a replacement is necessary.
Philips maintenance pack: the descaling step
The Philips/Saeco CA6700/10 descaler has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of automatic espresso machines. Its composition based oncitric acid andlactic acid, the result of 25 years of experience from the brand, guarantees descaling that is both effective and respectful of the fragile parts inside your appliance. This exclusive formula perfectly cleans all water circuits, eliminates accumulated limestone and even prevents the formation of rust. The 250 ml bottle corresponds precisely to the necessary dose for a complete descaling cycle, making it easy to use
The combined use of the Aquaclean filter radically changes the descaling frequency. Indeed, if you systematically replace your filter cartridge every 3 months, you can space out descaling up to 5000 cups, or about once every 18 months only. This remarkable capacity is explained by the preventive action of the filter which neutralizes limestone upstream, in particular its accumulation in the machine circuits. After eight successive replacements of AquaClean filters, your machine will automatically reactivate the descaling reminder, indicating that a complete maintenance becomes necessary.
