The Baristator tamper is one of the most precise on the market. It features a 57.3 mm diameter and a black wooden handle with a stainless steel base. Its innovative shape minimizes coffee-ground loss and makes your tamping perfect.

A perfect diameter!
With an ultra-precise 57.3 mm diameter and flat bottom, this base has been designed to ensure tamping of the entire dose of coffee grounds in your filter.
When a traditional coffee tamper doesn’t get close enough to the edge of your filter (thus causing significant ground loss), the Baristator tamper lets you compress the entire weighed dose. And you know that, when it comes to espresso, precision is a key factor!
The Baristator tamper was developed to fit 57 mm diameter filters; however, it will not suit filters intended for a single cup.
A carefully engineered base shape
Its shape differs from classic “rectangular” tampers, and this isn’t for looks—once again, it’s for efficiency.
Because its diameter prevents any loss of grounds, the issue of air suction can arise: whereas a traditionally shaped tamper (assuming a diameter as precise as the Baristator’s) would lift the puck by a vacuum effect, the Baristator tamper allows air to escape gradually, avoiding any pressure imbalance.
The Baristator tamper is a tool developed with renowned barista champions to fit perfectly the needs for extracting your espressos. The wooden handle is ergonomically shaped to suit everyone, and its texture provides a secure, non-slip grip for a precise motion.
The stainless steel base is heavy (257.5 g) and made of high-grade steel; the logo is laser-etched with a special technique so that no coffee grounds can cling to it.
