The Sri Lanka, also called tea island, is the fourth largest producer of tea (green and black) in the world. More than half of the black tea consumed in France is imported from Sri Lanka.
This black tea comes from a fine picking, only the bud, which contains mainly the benefits of tea, and the first two leaves are selected.
The Breakfast by Terra Etica is ideal to be tasted in the morning, in a cup it will offer you a beautiful amber color and notes of ripe fruits. It is the most full-bodied of the black teas.
Terra Etica supports ecological development by offering this tea from organic farming, fine picking, manual harvesting and fair trade.

Facing the large tea plantations in Sri Lanka, the SOFA cooperative supports this small agriculture concerned with biodiversity through soil fertilization. 600 producers own small gardens where they grow tea and spices ensuring a monetary income through fair trade. They also grow fruits and vegetables for their personal consumption.
