This Las Planadas Colombia whole-bean coffee comes from the Grupo Sierra cooperative located at 1,700 m altitude in the heart of the Sierra Nevada. This single-origin organic Arabica reveals a red-fruit and indulgent profile, with notes reminiscent of black-currant confit, walnut or cocoa. Medium+ roast specially developed for great espressos. Pack size: 250 g.

An organic whole-bean coffee ideal for your espresso
Enjoy a coffee with a straightforward, cocoa-rich attack, offering nutty notes and a powerful, almost woody cup. Its finish is softened by lightly floral black-currant-jam nuances.
Thanks to its medium+ roast, positioned between a dark and a medium roast, this coffee delivers in the cup exceptional roundness and body. The aim of this roast is to reveal all the coffee’s sweetness and achieve a beautiful balance in the cup.

A single-origin coffee grown by Grupo Sierra
The organic Las Planadas whole-bean coffee comes from the Sierra Nevada region in the Magdalena province, where producers join forces to grow high-quality, certified organic coffee that respects the environment.
The plantations, situated at 1,700 metres above sea level, benefit from an ideal micro-climate with sandy soils and an average annual temperature of 27 °C. Harvest runs from November to January, with cherries picked by hand and processed the same day by the washed method.
After 13–15 hours of fermentation, the beans from the Castillo and Colombia varieties are sun-dried on African beds for 15–20 days, thus preserving the coffee’s aromas and quality.
