Lelit PL92T: a compact semi-pro espresso machine
The Lelit Elizabeth PL92T espresso machine is the top model of the "VIP Line" range.
This range consists of coffee machines with a retro look and a beautiful brushed stainless steel body, the famous LCC electronic system (Lelit Control Center) to refine your extraction settings, but also the "Coffee Slide" portafilter unique to Lelit.
The Lelit Elizabeth PL92T is equipped with a dual boiler and a dedicated hot water dispenser. This system provides excellent thermal stability and the ability to produce steam on demand.
Its 58 mm brass brew group places it in the semi-professional espresso machine category, as it will need to be paired with a suitable espresso grinder to achieve good results in the cup.
The Lelit Elizabeth is made for espresso lovers who want to take it to the next level with continuous steam to make milk foam without compromise.
It's a fairly compact espresso coffee machine, designed for domestic use, with everything a pro has?!
All LELIT espresso machines are made in Italy with materials from Italy or Europe.
Every LELIT espresso machine (regardless of the range: evolutive or semi-pro) is also tested twice on the production line before being carefully boxed.
The high-end components of this Lelit PL92T coffee machine
The brushed stainless steel body of this Lelit Elizabeth PL92T brings real elegance.
The 58 mm diameter brew group (like professional machines) and the brass portafilter are of very high quality and ensure good temperature stability.
Furthermore, the "Coffee Slide" inclined portafilter unique to Lelit with its slide-shaped spouts is a beautiful addition to Lelit machines to facilitate the formation of a nice crema but also to have a good view of the extraction of your espresso. The shape of this portafilter allows for flat tamping without damaging the spouts.
The brass boiler with a capacity of 300 ml maintains a constant water temperature to facilitate coffee extraction.
The stainless steel steam boiler has a capacity of 600 ml. It can be deactivated if needed.
A semi-professional, multidirectional stainless steel steam wand with "Cool Touch" to successfully create milk foam comfortably and safely. With its dedicated service boiler, you will never run out of steam!
The backlit pressure gauge on the front panel to indicate pressure during the extraction of your espresso.
The LCC (Lelit Control Center) via the digital screen to adjust: your extraction temperature (PID), the steam temperature, program the pre-infusion time and extraction duration, activate or deactivate the service boiler, a timer, standby mode (according to European standards), an indicator when the water reservoir is almost empty, etc.
A cup warmer larger than other models in the VIP Line to preheat your cups and avoid thermal shock during extraction.
A drip tray with a wider grid, all in stainless steel.
A cup riser in stainless steel is provided for small espresso cups.
The Lelit Elizabeth PL92T also allows you to extract your coffee into a mug, as the coffee group is higher than on the "50s Line" models.
Its ease of use and little extras!
This machine has 3 backlit stainless steel buttons with easily readable pictograms.
A "Coffee production button 1" (with pre-infusion profile 1), a "Coffee production button 2" (with pre-infusion profile 2) and a button for hot water. Steam is activated by turning the knob on the side.
The heating time is quite fast (about 10 minutes for a first espresso) but we recommend waiting 20 minutes to give the brass portafilter time to reach the right temperature for a perfect espresso!
The functionality has been well thought out with a drip tray that is very easy to remove for emptying and cleaning.
The Lelit Elizabeth PL92T has a small independent tap to dispense hot water (without going through the steam wand as on other machines in the VIP Line). Ideal for americano fans!
Eco mode: this machine automatically goes into standby after a period of inactivity.
The LCC screen constantly communicates the machine status and important information regarding your coffee extraction, it's up to you to find the settings that suit you for an optimal result in the cup.
Maintenance and accessories for the Lelit PL92T
The Lelit Elizabeth PL92T is equipped with a 3-way solenoid valve that allows excess water to be evacuated from the portafilter at the end of extraction and protects the machine in case of overpressure.
This also means you can perform a Backflush (deep cleaning) to clean your machine, using the blind filter and a specialized espresso machine cleaning product.
For the little story, Lelit named this espresso machine "Elizabeth" in tribute to Queen Elizabeth I, the fifth and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty.
Accessories: 2-spout "Coffee Slide" brass portafilter (58 mm), Single 1-cup filter, Single 2-cup filter, Blind filter, Stainless steel cup riser, ABS tamper and dosing spoon, one Lelit water filter cartridge.
