Rocket 8 cleaning tablets for Espresso Machine Group
The Cafetto cleaner for Rocket brand coffee machineswill help you keep your Rocket in good condition over time. It is an essential step to properly maintain your machine and always have delicious drinks with the right coffee flavor.
HOW TO USE ROCKET CAFETTO CLEANING TABLETS?
To clean the group infusion head:
- Each week, after backflushing, add one Cafetto Rocket detergent tabletCafetto Rocketfor cleaning espresso residues in the blind basket. Dissolve it in hot water and insert the portafilter into the group head.
- Activate the infusion lever then deactivate it after about 10 seconds. Repeat this several times.
- Empty the Cafetto Rocket cleaner from the basket then perform a backflush using only water,
- until detergent residues are thoroughly purged from the infusion group.
To clean the injection shower screen and infusion head gasket:
- Use the rounded end of a 12 mm adjustment screw to remove the injection shower screen and infusion head.
- Unscrew the brass spacer located inside the infusion group using a short-blade screwdriver.
- Clean the inside of the group head using the brush specifically provided for cleaning the group head.
- Using a damp cloth, clean where the portafilter locks into the group head.
- Soak the removed metal parts (injection shower screen, brass spacer) in a solution of 2 Cafetto Rocketcleaning tabletsfor espresso residue and hot water. Soak for 10 minutes. Rinse, dry and replace them.
- Use the portafilter to reinstall the injection shower screen, positioned above the head gasket, inside the group head. The chamfer on the gasket should face upward.
- Once the head gasket becomes brittle or the injection shower screen is perforated, they must be replaced. These are consumable parts.
