This Motta coffee distributor, designed for filters with a 58 mm diameter, is an accessory that improves your in-cup results.
The distribution of coffee in the portafilter is a crucial step in pulling a successful espresso. The water must flow uniformly through the entire coffee puck in order to extract all the aromas of your coffee.
Thanks to this Motta distributor, creating an even puck is simplified. The upper disc rests on the rim of your portafilter and the lower part (helix-shaped) levels and distributes the grounds in your portafilter. Thus your flat puck will contain the same dose of coffee throughout.
