Italian intensity in a Tanat specialty coffee
This coffee comes from lands where coffee is king, between Central and South America – more precisely Copan, Chiapas and Hanur – as well as from North America and India. Grown at 1100 m altitude, it has been enhanced by Tanat’s roasting expertise, which perfectly mastered the roast to reveal its full potential.
In the cup, the espresso shows a dark colour, typical of Italian-style coffees, topped with a generous crema. On tasting, its refined profile charms with a full, round body and marked intensity. Notes of dark chocolate and hazelnut assert themselves on the palate, like a signature of the finest Italian coffees.
This Tanat coffee is best enjoyed as an espresso, after lunch. For a bold twist, try it with a blue cheese like Roquefort: the pairing is striking.
