CAFFÉ VERGNANO launches Antica Bottega, the Italian brand’s must-have whole-bean coffee, in a 500 g format.
You’ll find everything that made it a success:
- a coffee made from the finest origins : a blend of robusta and arabica from Central and South America as well as the Dominican Republic.
- a medium roast : a bean treatment suited to both espresso and milky drinks
- roasted in Italy : Caffè Vergnano itself roasts these beans in Turin, following a meticulous method tailored to each origin. Here, it’s a slow roast, i.e. an 18- to 22-minute cycle.
- an incomparable tasting experience : before being a taste pleasure, it’s a feast for the eyes. A beautiful crema crowns your coffee a few minutes after extraction. Antica Bottega is partly made of arabica, which you can feel in the cup : a tangy yet gentle attack, before discovering a coffee with full body and roundness. Intensity is balanced and aromas are omnipresent, ending on a chocolatey finish.
We recommend enjoying it in the afternoon. If you can’t live without it, it also comes in a 1 kg format!

The Italian house has been crafting coffees for four generations. Its presence for 135 years makes it a benchmark in the field. Founded in a small Italian grocery, the brand quickly mastered every step of the chain, from roasting to selling coffee.
Success was there, but it took a turn when it acquired a plantation in Kenya. That’s why it “keeps an eye on the bean” when selecting origins and remains one of the trendiest producers.
At a time when “turbo” roasting is favored, Caffè Vergnano prefers slow roasting that truly showcases each bean’s origin. Across the brand’s range—whole-bean, ground, or capsule—look for labels guaranteeing quality and safety for your consumption.

It was founded long ago, in 1882: the family’s grandfather, Domenico Vergnano, grandfather of the current owners, started the business in the small medieval town of Chieri, at the foot of the Turin hills.
