The Nivona Café Romantica espresso grinder offers a sleek, modern design with a matte black front and a few stainless-steel accents.
This bean-to-cup coffee machine is equipped with acolour TFT screenthat guides you through your operations. Two buttons: a rotary one for selecting and one to open/close the steam wand. This Nivona coffee machine is rather compact and won’t take up too much space on your worktop.
Its dimensions:34 cm high, 24 cm wide, 46 cm deep
The containers offer generous capacities:

Nivona NICR 550 automatic coffee machine: simplified maintenance
This Nivona Café Romantica espresso grinder has aremovable brew group. You can thereforeclean it about once a weekby rinsing it under lukewarm water. This removes coffee deposits and oils, keeps your machine in good condition and ensures great taste in the cup.
We recommend using a filter cartridge to reduce limescale and extend the time between descaling cycles.
This Nivona coffee machine alerts you to every required action (filter change, rinse, spout) and featuresautomatic programmesfor cleaning, rinsing and descaling.

Expert’s verdict
I find this Nivona bean-to-cup machine perfectly suited for a single person or couple who wantto enjoy an excellent espresso.
Indeed, although there are only 3 settings for intensity and grind fineness, this is not at all bothersome given the in-cup result that I really enjoyed. Enjoy a very aromatic coffee thanks to Nivona’s Aromatica pre-infusion system, with a well-developed crema.
The little extra? The passive cup warmer is really very effective compared with what I usually get to test! you can place your cups there to avoid thermal shock and obtain a perfectly crafted coffee down to the last detail.
Finally, the ground-coffee chute and the cappuccinator system perfectly complement this bean-to-cup machine if you occasionally want to make a decaf or a milk-based drink. If you regularly drink cappuccino, I’d rather recommend a One Touch model.
