A contemporary design for a compact espresso machine
Nuova Simonelli’s Oscar Mood was specially designed for those who enjoy great coffee and milk drinks at home or in the office.
Behind its simple, modern lines, its stainless-steel body and contemporary colours lie top-of-the-range professional components so everyone can enjoy a quality coffee experience. The Oscar Mood invites creativity and lets you explore new drinks, new blends, offering and discovering unique flavours every time.
The Oscar Mood incorporates a heat-exchanger and PID system to ensure thermal stability and consistent results. The boiler temperature is electronically controlled by a professional pressurestat, while the integrated by-pass regulates pressure. Moreover, the machine is ready to use in 15 minutes !
The Oscar Mood is the big sister of the Oscar II; it benefits from new technologies and new components (PID, digital screen for settings, new micropore mesh grille, wooden portafilter handle, more stainless steel for the bodywork, steam-dispensing button...).
Nuova Simonelli is a brand recognised worldwide for its professional coffee machines.

A 58 mm diameter brass brew group, just like on professional espresso machines.
Digital control panel to adjust and programme the machine.
A 2-litre boiler with PID: electronic control of steam-boiler pressure that lets you reach the desired temperature.
A two-spout portafilter in brass with a wooden handle and ergonomic design for a better grip.
A powerful steam wand Cool Touch in stainless steel to prevent burns and let you work on your Latte Art safely. Steam is activated by pressing a button (no longer a lever as on the Oscar II).
This model has no water tank and must be connected to the mains water supply.
A bypass (OPV) for better in-cup results.
The drip tray has a good one-liter capacity and a new micro-mesh metal screen (micropore mesh).

This Oscar Mood espresso machine is equipped with a digital panel and back-lit buttons to dispense your coffee and manage various aspects for results to your taste:
- Program the cup volume (for one or two shots).
- Manage the service boiler pressure.
- Adjust the pre-infusion from 0 to 3 seconds by programming the solenoid valve delay.
- A timer that shows the extraction time.
- The ability to program the daily start and stop time of the machine.
- Set the idle time before standby mode.
- Guide the maintenance.
- Steam production is electronically guided by pressing the dedicated button to start or stop the action.
Red Oscar Mood for water line, accessories and maintenance
The manual Oscar Mood espresso machine comes with a 2-spout brass portafilter with wooden handle, Single 1-cup filter, Single 2-cup filter, Blind filter, ABS tamper and dosing spoon, two doses of Puly Caff for deep cleaning, water line connection kit.
The Oscar Mood was designed with maximum accessibility for quick and easy cleaning.
This machine is built with a decompression path (solenoid valve) that evacuates excess water from the puck at the end of extraction and removes residual pressure. This decompression path allows deep maintenance of your machine (called Backflush).
