This whole bean coffee is a Grand Cru from Guatemala. It offers a balanced cup with a sweetness pronounced as well as a acidity subtle.
It is a blend of two varieties: Caturra and Bourbon. Its washed process gives it complex and intense notes. Discover notes of papaya and nougat. A surprising result, but one that pairs perfectly.
Discover a little more about the farm where this coffee comes from. Located in San Martin Jilotepeque in the Chimaltenango region of Guatemala, it is managed by Antonio Medina. He is the third generation of his family to cultivate these lands, and he planted the first coffee tree in 1991.
After expanding his crops, he built his own processing infrastructure, prioritizing quality over quantity. He even received excellent scores in the Guatemala Cup of Excellence competition!
The coffee from this farm benefits from advantages linked to its environment: vegetation and fresh water for irrigation. Only a quarter of his farm is used for coffee, he insists on preserving a large part of native forest.
