Water hardness test strip
Why use this test strip?
Knowing the hardness of the water that you will use daily in your coffee machine is essential. Indeed, this lets you know whether your water contains more or less limescale. This will affect the lifespan of your filter and therefore of your coffee machine.
When should you use this test?
Before putting your professional machine into service, it is best to test the water from your supply, i.e. the water coming out of your tap. You will then know the hardness of your water and can enter the result into your machine’s settings.
The machine will then adjust the descaling frequency accordingly and tell you when to change your water filter.
