DeLonghi presents its brand-new bean-to-cup machine with amodern design and compact size and well thought-out. It is, so to speak, the smallest format ever designed by DeLonghi! Since the water tank is easily built-in and positioned on the side of the machine, you might consider placing the milk carafe right in front to save even more space when it’s not in use. Everything seems to fit together brilliantly.

How does it work?Very simply: the coffee maker comes with2 interchangeable bean hoppers. Each can hold up to 250 g (the equivalent of a whole bag of coffee). No need to wait until the hopper is empty to change coffee! This solution isperfect for suiting the tastes of several people within the same household, or for meeting the different desires of one person depending on the time of day.
This coffee maker’s exclusive technology, theBean Switch System, was awarded at the Paris Fair with theGold Grand Prix for Innovation, which promises great things. But that’s not the brand’s only surprise: DeLonghi offers a new technology interesting for the remaining 10 g of beans when swapping bean hoppers. The idea: treat yourself to one last coffee... then you can either purge the system or keep the remainder and blend it with the new coffee you’ve just loaded.

The DeLonghi Rivelia offers up to8 coffee recipes, and on versions with milk drinks, it goes up to 16 beverages: enough to delight every consumer. Moreover, this grinder espresso features theCoffee Routine system, a technology that providesrecipe memorization based on the time of day you consume the drinks, to deliver a personalized experience.
DeLonghi’s new gem also has theBean Adapt function adjustable directly on its touchscreen : the machine will then suggest an automatic grinder adjustment based on the coffee used. This makes it a perfect bean-to-cup machine for coffee lovers who want quality without getting lost in the settings: the Rivelia offers you optimal settings for a controlled extraction. The BeanAdapt technology remains optional, so the most experienced coffee enthusiasts can still disable it at will.

Maintaining the DeLonghi Rivelia
Maintaining your bean-to-cup coffee machine is just as important as choosing the right coffee. Indeed, over time, your coffee can taste stale if you do not clean your appliance. And to keep your coffee maker in good condition and provide you with the best possible experience, it is also important to take care of it.
We recommend these essential steps:
- CLEANING : the coffee brew group is removable on this machine. Our advice is to rinse it under lukewarm water once a week. The various trays and containers can also be cleaned, even in the dishwasher.
- FILTRATION : the filter cartridge will filter limescale particles and purify the taste of the water, and thus your cup of coffee, which will retain all its aromas.
- DESCALING : the DeLonghi Rivelia machine will alert you when descaling is needed!
- MILK SYSTEM : if you choose the latte version of the Rivelia, note that the supplied carafe will clean itself automatically. So you won't have much to do on that side.

This DeLonghi Rivelia coffee machine is a true innovation that is shaking up the espresso bean-to-cup machine market. Finally, a solution to switch coffee on demand. It's perfect if you want a medium roast coffee for filter coffee in the morning, then a more intense espresso in the afternoon with an Italian roast, for example. It's also perfect if you don't all have the same tastes at home: everyone gets their own compartment, everyone gets their own coffee. It's a little marvel, even if we could have imagined a larger water tank, 1.7L, without compromising the machine's design. In terms of extraction: a nice surprise, as De'Longhi has changed its extraction group; with the Rivelia, you can brew two coffees of the same intensity at the same time! The Rivelia is also available with a milk carafe, ideal for preparing indulgent drinks.
