This ultra-modern espresso grinder features a matte black ABS body, a satin aluminum frame, and a high-quality brushed aluminum front panel. It is aesthetically modern and also offers practical features. One interesting characteristic of this machine is the LED cup lighting while the coffee is flowing. This creates a pleasant visual ambiance and adds a touch of sophistication to your tasting experience.
A compact espresso grinder specially designed to fit into small kitchens thanks to its reduced dimensions. With a width of only 180 mm, it can easily find its place. It measures 336 mm in height and 433 mm in length. The spouts are height-adjustable, allowing the use of cups of different sizes. In addition, the aluminum drip tray is removable. It offers a pouring height ranging from 90 mm to 185 mm.

This Smeg bean-to-cup coffee machine offers 11 beverages, specializing in coffee and milk-based drinks:
- Ristretto & Light Ristretto: a short and intense coffee in aromas
- Espresso & Light Espresso: a slightly longer coffee with pronounced aromas
- Americano: equivalent to half a mug
- Hot Water: for your teas and herbal teas
- Milk carafe: for milk-based drinks in One touch for cappuccino, a latte macchiato, espresso macchiato, or milk foam
These beverages have factory settings, however you can completely customize the cup length to suit your desires. The BCC13 version includes a milk carafe for making delicious milk-based beverages.
The BCC13BLMEU espresso grinder: intuitive interface and dual menu
The Smeg espresso grinder is designed to offer optimal user comfort. Its flat buttons located on top of the machine allow for practical and easy use. It offers two distinct menus, each menu being associated with a specific button. The LEDs change color to indicate the selected menu: white for the first menu and orange for the second.
The intuitive interface of this machine makes it easy to use, ensuring hassle-free operation. You can plug it in quickly and start using it immediately, without delay. The 5-position conical burr grinder of this espresso grinder ensures a fine and homogeneous grind. This guarantees maximum aroma extraction in your cup of coffee. In addition, the presence of a thermoblock allows rapid heating, allowing you to enjoy your coffee in no time. The high-pressure 19-bar pump ensures optimal extraction of flavors and aromas.
Simplified maintenance for the Smeg bean-to-cup coffee machine
This Smeg bean-to-cup machine offers simple maintenance; the machine will tell you when descaling is needed
- Thefilter cartridge: To fully enjoy the aromas of your coffee, it is important that your water is pure.
- Thebrew group: It can be removed and cleaned once a week by simply rinsing it under water, removing coffee residues.
- Thedescaling: During brewing, water flowing through the machine leaves limescale that eventually impedes flow and may cause leaks. Descale every 2–3 months depending on your water hardness and coffee consumption.
- Thegrounds container: located at the front of the machine, it holds up to 7 pucks.
- Thedrip tray: When the machine is switched on, it performs a rinse to reach brewing temperature. It also rinses before shutting off. The drip tray sits under the cup rest.
- TheEasy Cleaning function : After making milk-based drinks, use the cleaning function to maintain the circuit easily.
A well-maintained machine will brew good coffee, full of aroma and at the right temperature.
