Philips' Baristina is aninnovative espresso machine for preparing your coffee with complete ease. Itscompact size will allow you to place it very easily in your kitchen or on your desk.
ThisPhilips Baristina BAR300/03model features an elegant white ABS body and a portafilter with a yellow handle.
It is equipped with aquiet grinder(72 dB), to enjoy all the aromas of freshly ground coffee beans, but also to produce less waste than a capsule machine.
Philips designed the Baristina with amore eco-responsible approach: the coffee grounds can go in your compost bin, its body is made from 50% recycled plastic and the recyclable packaging contains 0% plastic.
Energy consumption is minimal: 2.6 Wh (watt-hours) in standby mode and 122.8 Wh when the Baristina prepares a coffee.

With its compact format, the Philips Baristina coffee machine isideal for solo or duo use.
It will allow you to makean espresso or a long coffee (lungo)in less than 60 seconds : perfect for tough mornings!
The great innovation of the Baristina is the"Swipe and let it flow" concept: lock the portafilter in place, select an espresso or lungo and slide the portafilter to the right. The grinder will dispense freshly ground coffee andthe portafilter will move automatically to start extraction.
All that's left for you to do is enjoy your cup of coffee.Fast, fun and efficient.
Other features of the Philips Baristina BAR300/03
The Philips Baristina coffee machine was designed to make your life easier.
The Baristina has no on/off switch: as long as it's plugged in, it stays in standby mode forenergy savings. The machine starts automatically as soon as you select a drink. It returns to standby mode as soon as it stops making coffee.
With just three buttons, you can choose between an espresso, a lungo, but also get a stronger coffee with theintensity booster button.
And if you want tochange the amount of coffee in the cup, programming is very simple. This will allow you to get an espresso between 30 and 70 ml or a long coffee between 70 and 200 ml (the maximum is perfect for a mug).
Thegrinder requires no adjustments, just put your coffee beans in the hopper, the Baristina will do the rest.
In addition, the Philips Baristina allows you to put ground coffee in the portafilter, an option that will be welcome for people who prefer a cup of decaffeinated coffee from time to time.
This Philips Baristina coffee machine comes with aremovable drip tray to be able to use taller cups.
Philips Baristina: simplified maintenance
Ease of maintenance is another strong point of the Philips Baristina espresso machine with grinder.
Its innovative portafilter is equipped with an integrated system to eject the puck of used coffee more easily. Then simply rinse the portafilter under running water to clean it. Your coffee pucks can then be composted.
To rinse the machine's brew head and get rid of ground coffee residue, insert the empty portafilter and press the Intensity Booster button for three seconds. Don't forget to place a cup under the machine for the rinse cycle.
The Baristina coffee machine has no slot for a filter cartridge: only an occasional descaling is required, after about 40 litres of coffee. Remember to use a descaling agent suitable for your coffee machine.
