Philips Baristina Variety with its double bean hopper
The Philips Baristina Variety is an espresso machine designed for simple and responsible use, while offering more flexibility in everyday life. Its compact format fits easily into any kitchen or workspace.
With its elegant white ABS body and careful design, it combines aesthetics and practicality. Itsquiet grinderlets you fully enjoy the aromas of freshly ground coffee, while reducing waste from single-use capsules and requires no adjustment.
The special feature of the Baristina Variety lies in itsdouble bean hopper, which lets you vary your pleasures according to your mood: a light roast in the morning, a stronger coffee for the afternoon. A rare asset on such a compact machine.
Philips designed the Baristina Variety with amore eco-responsibleapproach: the coffee grounds can go in your compost bin, its body is made from 50% recycled plastic and the recyclable packaging contains 0% plastic.
Energy consumption is minimal: 2.6 Wh (watt-hour) in standby mode and 122.8 Wh when the Baristina prepares a coffee.
Features of the Baristina Variety BAR320/00
The Philips Baristina coffee machine was designed to make your life easier. With its compact format, the Philips Baristina Variety coffee machine isideal for solo or duo use. This coffee machine comes with aremovable drip trayto accommodate taller cups.
The Baristina has no on/off switch: as long as it's plugged in, it stays in standby mode forenergy saving. The machine starts automatically as soon as you select a drink. It returns to standby mode as soon as it stops making coffee.
With just three buttons, you can choose between an espresso (between 30 and 70 ml), a lungo (between 70 and 200 ml), but also get a stronger coffee with theintensity booster button.
The Baristina Variety and its"Swipe and let it flow"system: simply lock the portafilter, choose your coffee (espresso or lungo), then slide the portafilter to the right. Your chosen coffee is freshly ground and extraction starts automatically. Plus, the Philips Baristina Variety lets you put ground coffee in the portafilter.
Philips Baristina Variety: simplified maintenance
Ease of maintenance is another strong point of the Philips Baristina grinder espresso machine.
Itsinnovative portafilterfeatures anintegrated system to eject the puckof used coffee more easily. Simply rinse the portafilter under clear water to clean it. Your coffee pucks can then be composted.
The Baristina Variety coffee machine has no space for a filter cartridge: only occasionaldescalingis scheduled, after about 40 litres of coffee. Remember to use a descaling agent suitable for your coffee machine.
