The specialty coffee from Cosmai Caffè, sourced from Ethiopia, comes from the renowned Yirgacheffe region, located in the Gedeo zone. This area is famous for its ideal shade-grown conditions, allowing coffee cherries to ripen perfectly between 1950 and 2200 meters altitude, producing beans rich in complex sugars.
The coffee cherries for this product were carefully selected, prioritizing perfect ripeness. Grown in semi-forest and alongside other crops such as banana, this coffee, named Addis Abeba, is sumptuous.
It is therefore a whole bean coffee of high quality, characterized by Yellow Fruit and Gourmand profiles that you are about to discover.
On tasting, the Addis Abeba whole bean coffee evokes memories of apricot jam with dominant notes of dried apricot, marmalade, and more subdued notes of cocoa and molasses.
