The KF7 range first appeals with its understated, timeless design. Its3.5-inch touchscreengives access to all drinks and customization settings. This burr grinder espresso is ideal for family use withits 20 different drinks and its4 customizable user profiles.
On top of the KitchenAid burr grinder espresso, two flaps are accessible, one for the bean hopper and thegrounds chuteand the second for the water tank. The machine visually indicates when they need refilling. The bean hopper lid is fitted with asealing gasketperfect for preserving your coffee’s aromas. You can pour in the entire bag of beans without risking damage to the coffee beans.
Enjoy up to 20 programmable drinks with the automatic KitchenAid KF7 machine. The machine’s various technologies highlight your coffee’s aromas. Thegrind fineness is adjustable across 7 positions, allowing you to tailor the grind to the coffee roast and achieve a balanced cup. When customizing your coffee, you can modify thecoffee quantity across 5 positions, thepre-infusion, cup length, and temperature across 3 levels.
During our tests, we appreciated the fluidity of the settings offered by the screen. The display makes adjustments playful. From the first extraction, we achieved a near-perfect in-cup result with a thick crema even with a grind fineness set to position 4. Visually, the espresso was perfect and, taste-wise, it fully met our expectations with perfect balance.
The burr grinder espresso is equipped with a790 ml milk carafe, ideal for making drinks for a family. Milk-based drinks can be prepared two at a timeto save time. You can choose cup length and temperature. Coffee-based milk drinks let you prioritize milk flow so you can finally pour gagner du temps. Aremovable bean hopper, a much-appreciated option for coffee lovers who often want to explore different aromas. A central dial lets you lock the hopper to close it. You can thenremove it with a single press. A small amount remains above the grinder and will later mix with the next coffee. You can still use the purge function to remove any coffee left in the burrs. The burr grinder espresso also features a grounds chute for making a decaf, for example.
For comfort during use, the machine is Quiet Mark certified which provides significant comfort when preparing beverages.
The espresso grinder is equipped with a Thermocoil which is a faster heating system than a thermoblock. It allows temperature stabilization during extraction. The Thermocoil enables faster machine startup with the ability to prepare a beverage after 40 seconds.
