On the KF8 range, what impresses first is its large screen. The fluidity of navigation, the different parameters available for each drink, we find premium finishes. The design and body of the machine are also remarkable with high-end performance. We find a stainless steel body, the brand delicately inscribed on the cup rest, all with taste. The top of the machine is in ABS with access to the different containers. The espresso grinder corresponds to home use, its containers are huge:
With its high-end performance, we naturally find a sealing gasket under the lid of the bean hopper, it protects the coffee beans from oxidation, but also provides better sound insulation during extraction. Under the lid of the bean hopper is also available the ground coffee chute handy for preparing a decaf.
The KitchenAid espresso grinder offers up to 40 drinks, you can customize them to your taste. Each drink can be adjusted to achieve a perfect result: grind with 7 fineness positions, the coffee quantity over 5 positions, the temperature, pre-infusion on 3 levels and cup length (depending on drinks).
We tested the KF8 espresso grinder, the quality of the materials (screen, design) is a real success. The various parameters available for extraction are intuitive and allow for a perfect extraction. From the first espresso, we obtained a beautiful, very thick crema with a lovely hazelnut color. We deliberately chose to push the quantities to the maximum (grind, pre-infusion) and the result was very satisfying with a delicious balance in the cup.
The KF8 range offers a multitude of milk-based drinks which, for some, can be made as a duo (espresso macchiato, latte macchiato, flat white, café au lait, cortado, milk foam, hot milk) some available with animal milk or a plant-based alternative. The order of milk flow can be chosen for coffee-based drinks, you will enjoy the real recipe of a cappuccino.
The removable bean hopper is an interesting option that allows you to change coffee easily. To avoid mixing coffees, a function allows you to empty the remaining grinds from the machine.
The Quiet Mark technology ensures quieter drink preparation. Sound insulation is provided by the quality machine body and the sealing gasket. This feature brings real comfort of use.
The KF8 espresso grinder is equipped with a Thermocoil, it helps stabilize the temperature during extraction. The Thermocoil heats up faster, allowing the machine to be ready for the first preparation in 40 seconds.
The espresso grinder offers maintenance cycles to guarantee drink quality day after day.
