The Aiden drip coffee machine and the different profiles: how does it work?
With Aiden, it's like having a real barista at home. Designed to recreate the pour-over coffee experience, the Aiden lets you enjoy coffee with the precision and richness usually reserved for manual methods. Its plastic construction, cubic design, and matte black finish make the Aiden an appliance that will fit perfectly into any modern interior.
Aiden lets you create, save and retrieve your recipes for flawless repeatability. To create your recipes, you need to set up a profile whose name you can choose and define your own settings. This way, you can adjust the temperature (ideally between 90 and 95 °C), the ratio (the lower it is, the more body in the cup). You can also adjust the pre-infusion and thus modify the water temperature, the de l'eau, la duration and the ratio. An advanced mode is offered, giving you access to additional settings that let you define the number of pulses desired (maximum 10), the temperature and the interval between each pulse.
The coffee maker also includes pre-set profiles tailored to your coffee's roast. These profiles range from light to dark, and you can even choose to start a cold brew. Indeed, Aiden features a Cold Brew function that completes in just 5 hours, a record time when you consider this type of brew usually takes 12 hours.
Coffee for one or for many: the Aiden coffee maker
The coffee maker comes with two filter baskets, one flat-bottom for brewing larger quantities, and a classic cone-bottom basket for smaller amounts. Depending on the number of cups desired, the machine will indicate which filter to use. Then simply insert the indicated basket with the appropriate paper filter and add your coffee. Make sure the shower headis set to the position suited to the chosen coffee batch. The remaining brew time is shown on the LCD screen, and once the coffee is ready, the machine will alert you with a beep. Note that for 10 cups, the coffee maker takes about 10.30 minutes.

The Aiden features a handy volumetric sensor that ensures the exact amount of water is used even if the tank is filled beyond requirements. Then, underneath the Aiden, you'll find a cord wrapwhich keeps the worktop uncluttered and therefore keeps your kitchen organized.

This app lets you create and share profiles. And, if you can’t find the app on your phone, aQR codeis displayed on the machine’s screen to lead you to the app. This App,connectable via wifi, includes detailed step-by-step help for resolving connection or usage issues. Thissupportis quite handy and streamlines your experience by offering quick solutions to any malfunctions.
Through this app, you can manage multiple devices from the brand as well ascreate, editandsharecustom brew profiles. You can also record every detail such as brewing temperature, so your machine makes the perfect coffee effortlessly.

Every parameter is adjustable—temperature, coffee-to-water ratio, and pre-infusion duration—letting me extract the best from every coffee bean. This machine offers a great opportunity for experimentation: you can try different combinations to discover new facets of your favorite coffee. I feel like I have my own coffee-science lab at home! I can only recommend this premium drip machine that will enhance your coffee routine; it’s an investment well worth it.
