The latest-generation P.A.G.2 grinder is integrated into the Jura E8 EC machine, providing an optimal grinding experience for a flavorful coffee every time. One innovation of this grinder lies in its ability to adjust the grind level according to your preferences. In addition, the P.A.G.2 grinder has been specifically developed to remain in a relaxed resting state between preparations, which improves its lifespan and ensures consistent grinding.
It is also equipped with the Vacuum Clean System, which cleans the burrs after each grinding to avoid disruptions when changing grind fineness. Finally, the Jura E8 EC grinder is quieter and faster than the previous version, giving it greater durability.
How the Jura E8 milk system works
The Jura E8 milk system works using a tube that draws milk from an external container (such as a cooler or milk jug) to a special nozzle called fine foam.
The milk is then heated and frothed to produce a creamy foam, ideal for drinks like cappuccino or latte macchiato.
Once the drink is prepared, the machine automatically offers a system rinse to ensure proper hygiene.
Perfect extraction: The magic of 3D and PEP technology
A feature called "3D Pre-infusion" is present in the Jura E8 range of coffee machines, playing a crucial role in coffee extraction. Once the coffee is tamped, water is poured evenly over the grounds, allowing the aromas to develop before extraction.
The "Pulse Extraction Process" (P.E.P) system is also used by the machine, which applies pulsed pressure to the grounds to extract the aromasin a balanced way. This ensures that the water remains in contact with the coffee grounds for the optimal extraction time.

- Thefilter cartridge: use aClaris Smart +cartridge which will be provided with the machine. By using this cartridge, you can purify your tap water by removing impurities such as limescale and residues.
- Theextraction chamber: The Jura machine comes with two cleaning tablets. Regularly fill the extraction chamber with these tablets to remove oil and residue deposits.
- Themilk system: you can use the two-compartment container provided with the machine and add water to one of the compartments. The machine will then perform a thorough rinse of the milk circuit to clean it deeply. Do this regularly to maintain optimal hygiene.
- Thecoffee grounds container: Used coffee pucks can be stored in the grounds container, which is convenient for daily use. However, it is recommended to empty it regularly to maintain the cleanliness of your machine.
