Discover all the splendor of Ethiopia in a single cup.
This coffee offers a lightly floral attack with honeyed notes. You will appreciate its supple body with its lovely sweetness revealing chocolate notes. This cup is balanced and has a silky texture (for an Ethiopian coffee). Scoring: 84/100.
The medium+ roast is an intermediate between the dark roast and the medium roast from Lugat. The goal of this roast is to reveal all the sweetness of the coffee and to find a beautiful balance in the cup. Recommended for espresso, you can enjoy an aromatic and accessible coffee for everyone.

Farm presentation:
This coffee is grown under shade, in an area where coffee cultivation is ancient. The fertile lands of the Ethiopian highlands here support a polyculture farming system that allows farmers to combine food crops and coffee on the same plots. Enset (false banana) plays an important role in these farming systems. This tree, whose root, when pounded, is the basis of the diet in this region, has important nutritional qualities. Enset also has the particularity of retaining water in its trunk for many months. Its presence among the coffee trees provides constant humidity to the entire plot and promotes the trees' resistance to drier periods.
Barkume started its coffee activities more than 20 years ago. Today he works with more than 700 farmers from whom the coffee is collected and then processed on different sites.
